How did you end up here, you may be asking yourself? You need therapy for yourself or your family more than ever right now and so many therapy offices are shut down due to the pandemic. This only peaks your stress and anxiety over your current situation. When you need therapy the most, the doors are closed and the windows shuttered.
But wait, there is another way. It is time to consider online therapy. In the past, you may have never thought about doing therapy through your computer or mobile device, but times are definitely changing. Actually, there are many benefits to doing therapy online. Online therapy allows you to get help fast at multiple locations. It is easy and convenient, which is essential. After all, you are not on vacation, even though you might be staying home.
What You Need:
Online therapy, uses technology to provide real time therapy to parents and families from a distance. We can meet in the comfort of your living room or kitchen for family sessions. For individual sessions, we can meet anywhere you have a private space.
You will also need access to reliable internet, a computer or tablet with a video camera, microphone, and earphones. Chrome, Firefox or Safari web browsers afford the best connection.
It is not necessary to download any software.
You can also use Android or IOS devices.
How to check in for a visit:
I use Doxy.me, a teladoc platform for video conferencing. It works automatically.
1. Just type in my Doxy.me web address into your browser. I will give it to you during our initial phone consultation if you want to schedule an appointment. You will then enter into my virtual waiting room.

3. Type in your name and check in.
It is as easy as 1, 2 3!
Doxy.me uses state of the art encryption and security protocols. No data is ever recorded or stored.
Problems or question?
If you run into any issues, try restarting your computer. I also suggest that you use the “Pre-call Test” button once inside the waiting room, to make sure all systems are ‘go.’
